Abstract The Beehive House Restoration Committee records (1897-1964) consist of records of the committee and tour materials prepared by the committee containing historical information on this Brigham Young residence in Salt Lake City. Included are a list of period items placed in the home, a chronology of the restoration effort, a tour script, and a script for a slide presentation on the building. Also included is a news clipping from 1897 describing the home.

Abstract The Nancy V. Young essay (1980) consist of a paper written by Young entitled "The Kearns Mansion Restoration, 1977-1980." It is an overview of the project, lists people involved, and gives sources where additional information about the restoration can be found. The Kearns Mansion, located in Salt Lake City, was the home of Senator Thomas Kearns. In 1937, it was presented to the state of Utah to be used as the governor's residence. It also housed the Utah State Historical Society at one time.
