The Peter Edward Gibbs oral history audio recordings (2006) consists of an interview with Gibbs, who discusses his life experiences pertaining to climbing, caving, skiing, kayaking, and running rivers. A doctor of mechanical engineering, Gibbs is also an avid outdoorsman and was instrumental in the development of the Gibbs Ascender, an aid for climbers, spelunkers, arborists and rescue workers.

The Louis S. Goodman audio-visual collection (1968-1980) consists of video and audio tapes relating to the personal life and scientific career of University of Utah pharmacologist Dr. Louis S. Goodman, a pioneer of anticancer chemotherapy.

The Peter Goss interview with Norman Hill audio recording (1983) covers the career of architect Norman Hill, an engineer and former associate of Frank Lloyd Wright and Taylor Woolley. Goss is a professor of architectural history at the University of Utah.

The Green River Archives video collection (circa 1969) consists of a film produced by the U.S. Department of the Interior's Geological Survey on John Wesley Powell. The film describes Powell's first expedition down the Grand Canyon on the Green River, highlighting the area's geological features.

The Italian oral history project audio recordings (1970-1987) consist of interviews conducted with Utahns of Italian descent. Interviews begin with a short biography of the subject and cover topics such as discrimination, labor unions and social events. The Karin Hodgin Jones independent film collection (2001-2003) consists of art related films and video installations created by Jones while a student of sculpture at the University of Utah. Jones' films are analytical experiments with frameless animation and Technicolor film processing. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

The Willem J. Kolff audio-visual collection (1949-1995) consists of film, video and audio recordings relevant to Kolff's groundbreaking medical research into the development of artificial organs, including the artificial kidney and artificial heart.

This collection contains oral history interviews with 80 Utahns about their lives during World War II, at home and abroad.

The Steve Lacy collection of Herbert B. Maw audio recordings (1941-1946) consists of several audio recordings of speeches made by or on behalf of Herbert B. Maw during his term as governor of Utah.

The Brigham Madsen audio-visual collection (1986-1994) consists of video and audio recordings of speeches, interviews, and radio broadcasts covering a variety of religious and Western historical subjects. Dr. Brigham D. Madsen is a historian, educator, and author of several works concerning Western/Native American history. He has served as chair of the University of Utah History Department and earned academic honors including the Distinguished Teacher of the Year.

The Herbert B. Maw audio-visual collection (1941-1986) consists of audiocassettes of Maw's State Legislative Addresses in 1941 and 1943 and a 1986 conversation with Maw on KUER radio as well as a video interview from 1982. Herbert Brown Maw (1893-1990) was an attorney, educator, and Utah politician. He was elected as the 8th Governor of Utah and served from 1941 to 1949.

The Lois Lois Milner collection of broadcast radio audio recordings contains 259 phonograph records of radio programs from 1940-1952. These programs cover a variety of topics but appear to mostly be targeted towards children, or related to school in some way.
