Abstract
The Brigham Madsen audio-visual collection (1986-1994) consists of video and audio recordings of speeches, interviews, and radio broadcasts covering a variety of religious and Western historical subjects. Dr. Brigham D. Madsen is a historian, educator, and author of several works concerning Western/Native American history. He has served as chair of the University of Utah History Department and earned academic honors including the Distinguished Teacher of the Year.

Abstract
The film Margie of the Wasatch (1940s) is an early promotional film for the Utah ski industry. Filmed at Alta Ski Area in Little Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake City, the movie uses a narrative about two ski instructors competing for the affection of beautiful ski tourist Margie to showcase the Wasatch Mountains and the lessons, facilities, and services available at the resort. Alta began operations in 1939.

Maw audio-visual collection (1941-1986) consists of audiocassettes of Maw's State Legislative Addresses in 1941 and 1943 and a 1986 conversation with Maw on KUER radio as well as a video interview from 1982. Herbert Brown Maw (1893-1990) was an attorney, educator, and Utah politician. He was elected as the 8th Governor of Utah and served from 1941 to 1949.
