Abstract Michael D. 'Mickey' Gallivan was a writer, reporter, and businessman who was director of the Utah Travel Council and served as Vice President of the Salt Lake City Olympic Bid Committee from 1988 until 1995. The Michael D. 'Mickey' Gallivan collection contains photographs from the Utah Travel Council including images related to the Utah Olympic Bid, travel advertisements, Utah parks and scenery, and Park City.

Abstract The Ernest H. Linford correspondence (1955-1979) consist of seventeen letters to and from Linford, Fawn M. Brodie, and Dean R. Brimhall. Ernest Linford worked for the Salt Lake Tribune where he was known for his liberal politics. His political, religious, and environmental attitudes are the subjects of these letters.
