Abstract The Charles James Neal photograph collection consists of images of Charles Neal and his family. It also includes pictures of the Uintah Stage and Railway, the Uintah (Vernal) Telephone Company, Dinosaur National Monument, a number of gilsonite mining companies, several dozen petroglyphs, and many miscellaneous Uintah County scenes.

Abstract Charles Donald “Don” Snow (1926-2018) was a geologist and author. In the early 20th century, Snow's family lived near the Utah quarry where Earl Douglass discovered dinosaur bones in 1909. This collection contains color photographs from the 1990s of the former family ranch and black-and-white copy prints of photographs of Neal and Snow family members.
