Abstract The Andrew Jackson Allen diary (1848-1884) consist of a typed copy of Allen's diary. He begins by writing a brief synopsis of his life prior to 1848, then continues with day to day entries. He writes of church activities, politics, family business, and other subjects. Andrew Jackson Allen (1818-1884) was an early member of the LDS Church who moved to Utah under the direction of Abraham Owen Smoot in 1847.

Abstract The Oliver Lee Robinson diary (1854-1858) is a photocopy of Robinson's journal. In addition to a family record, the journal contains the activites of Robinson as a settler in Utah with an account of an Indian attack on Fort Limhi in Idaho, February 1857. The journal closes with the arrival of Johnston's army in Utah, July 1858.

Abstract The William C. Seifrit papers (1848-1987) consist of research notes and writings by Seifrit. The bulk of the collection concerns the history of Utah, especially art and photographic history, documented by Seifrit on notecards and in notebooks.
