Abstract The 10th Mountain Division Association was an alpine infantry division formed during World War II for service in Italian campaigns. The records (1948-1993) contain magazines, a poster, newsletters, brochures, and a history related to the activities of the 10th Mountain Division and of the association of division veterans.

Abstract "A Short History of the 85th Mountain Infantry Regiment" (1945) is a photocopy of a booklet describing the experiences of this army unit from its activation in August 1943 to its inactivation in November 1945--both in Colorado.

Abstract The Richard Nebeker papers (circa 1955, circa 1990) contain two short histories of the formation of the Tenth Mountain Division of the United States Army, as well as reproductions of photographs and sketches of this military unit. The first history, "My Experience in the Ski Troops," was written by Richard Nebeker and tells of his life as a soldier in the Tenth Mountain Division of the United States Army during the Second World War.
