Abstract The Guide to the Genteel Gentile photograph collection contains images used in the book entitled, "The Genteel Gentile: Letters of Elizabeth Cumming, 1857-1858." Also included are portraits, photographs of sketches illustrating scenes during the Utah Expedition, and views of landscapes and buildings in Utah.

Abstract Alta LaRee Hill Pehrson (1920-2006) was a community activist and reporter in the town of Magna, Utah, and was the first woman President of the Magna Chamber of Commerce. This collection contains photographs, negatives, and postcards relating to Magna, its people, events, schools, and organizations dating from approximately 1883 to 2006.
