The Alma Garth Sorenson papers (1988-1995) consist of a book of his personal and family memories. These include growing up in Aurora, Utah, his experiences at both Snow College and the University of Utah, his careers in the United States Army, and finally, as a professor at the University of Utah. The book also includes anecdotes about his family's history in Aurora, as well as their polygamist roots.

The Sarah Carmichael Williamson article birefly discusses the life of Williamson, a poet who married Dr. J. M. Williamson, and her fight with mental illness. This article was published in the Salt Lake Tribune in 1901.
