The Virginia Kelson photograph collection contains chiefly photographs of the career of Leslie J. Paul in the U. S. Army. The collections also includes portraits of Paul and his family, an informal group portraits of soldiers, as well as photographs and postcards collected by Leslie J. Paul in Europe immediately after World War II.

The Elbert Thomas photograph collection (1930-1960) consists of twenty black and white photographs of generals in the United States military. Elbert Thomas was a professor at the University of Utah and a United States Senator.
