Abstract The Eugene Nicholas Kovalenko papers (1943-2009) contain correspondence, diaries, poetry, commentary on his poetry, day planner pages, a project entitled "Journal of an Excommunicant," and newspaper clippings. Kovalenko studied at the University of California and at the University of Utah, where he received a Ph.D. in Materials Science.
