The diary was presented to Hoffman by Mrs. Enos A. Wall in 1913. It mentions singing lessons, theater events, parties, and other subjects. The diary (1913-1919) describes events in the life of an upper class, non-LDS woman in Salt Lake City. Included are some personal papers from her later life.
