William M. Purdy papers
The William M. Purdy papers (1954-1991) consist of personal and professional documents for Purdy (1921-1993), a noted Utah educator. The materials include correspondence, writings, and documents concerning Rowland Hall-St. Mark's School, where Purdy was headmaster from 1968-1981. Also included in the collection is his paper, "An Outline of the History of the Flaming Gorge Area."
Religious Society of Friends newsletters
The Religious Society of Friends newsletters (1999-2002) is titled The Circle, which was generated by this organization. The Religious Society of Friends, also known as the Quakers, was founded in the seventeenth century by George Fox in England. The Friends hold weekly meetings for the purposes of worship, Bible study, and financial and business matters.
Shirley Ririe papers
The Shirley Ririe papers (1946-2010) consist mainly of programs, announcements, and news clippings pertaining to Ririe and the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company. Also included are correspondence, biographical information, and miscellaneous personal material. Shirley Ririe is a co-founder of the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, which is based in Salt Lake City.

The SSL was a patriotic society, which had its beginnings in Maryland during World War I (WWI). It was organized in Utah, and called that Salt Lake County Chapter, also known as the War Mothers.
