Abstract The George Barfoot papers (1962-1999) consists of a journal and a letter. The journal is the record of a trip through Glen Canyon, on the Colorado River in 1962. The first part is handwritten and the second is a typed transcript of the first. The letter was written in 1999 by Michael St. Clair to Dr. Richard Ingebretsen, of the Glen Canyon Institute.

Abstract The Fred T. Darvill personal narrative (1959) is the recollection of Darvill's (b. 1927) river trip down the Colorado River and a rock climb up Rainbow Bridge later in the same year.
