Abstract The Reconnaissance of Kaiparowits microfilm reel contains two reports of archaeological expeditions: "Reconnaissance of Southern Utah on the Kaiparowits Plateau and in the Southwestern drainage of the Escalante River, May 18-28, 1928" and "Reconnaissance in Southern Utah west of the Colorado River, April 17-May 17, 1928."

Abstract The Ralph and Elizabeth Watson slide collection consists of 34 color slides of Glen Canyon and the Escalante River taken by the Watsons during a 1959 trip. The Watsons traveled to the canyon from their home in southern California to view it before it was flooded in the creation of the Powell Reservoir.
