Abstract This oral history collection consists of 166 interviews conducted in the early 1970s. The interview subjects lived in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and the San Luis Valley of Colorado. Abstract The Utah Scottish Association audio-visual collection (1971-1981) consists of audiocassette recordings taken from the lectures and interviews of Dr. Frederick S. Buchanan on Scottish culture and the experience of Scottish-American immigrants to the United States. An historian and educator, Buchanan emigrated from Scotland to Utah with his parents in 1949.
