Brigham Young Card papers

Abstract The Brigham Young Card papers (1936-2003) consist of a photocopy of a typewritten diary relating to Card's mission for the LDS Church. He was called to the French mission and was assigned to work in the French-Swiss (Romande) District of Switzerland. Also included in the collection is Card's Boy Scout journal and general articles and historical information.

Christian Schneider papers

Abstract The Christian Schneider papers (1884-1909) contain diaries, letters, a temple record, and "The Shirt-Tail Provenade," an account of a chapter of his life. Schneider was born in Switzerland in 1844. He joined the LDS Church at age 23 and moved to Utah in 1868, where he worked on the transcontinental railroad and was present when the Golden Spike was driven.
