The Nate Rockwood independent film collection (2004) consists of a short documentary about the J. Willard Marriott Library's efforts to find funding to renovate its facilities. Rockwood made the film while a film student at the University of Utah. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

The Ismael Rojas independent film collection (2003) consists of one videocassette containing a narrative film and a documentary about Salt Lake City woodworker Gonzalo Tenogo. Both films were shot by Rojas while enrolled in Beginning Video Production at the University of Utah. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

The Azadeh Saljooghi independent film collection (2003) consists of short experimental, narrative and documentary films Saljooghi made while a student in the University of Utah's film department. Some of the films deal with Middle Eastern history and culture. A native of Iran, Dr. Saljooghi teaches communications and information studies at the American University in Dubai.

The Jack Sears papers (1897-1977, 2002) consist mainly of drawings and printing blocks by John Septimus "Jack" Sears (1875-1969). Sears was well-known as a "joke-drawing" artist and took newspaper jobs with Utah's Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, as well as other papers. He wrote and illustrated several books and was an art instructor at the University of Utah for many years.

John Septimus "Jack" Sears (1875-1969) was an artist, cartoonist, journalist, and faculty member at the University of Utah Department of Art. This collection contains photographs and negatives of Sears' illustrations for the 1932 book Thunder Cave by Jeremiah Stokes.

The Robbin Shahani independent film collection (circa 2000-2004) consists of narrative and experimental shorts by University of Utah graduate Robbin Shahani. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

The Society of Utah Artists records (1893-1931) consists of meeting minutes, correspondence, constitution, bylaws and other administrative materials.

The Trevor Southey papers (1917-2015) contains both his personal and professional records. These materials document Southey's career as a Utah artist and a gay activist.

The Spy Hop Productions independent film collection (2000-2009) consists of raw footage and finished films assembled by elementary and high school aged filmmakers under the tutelage of Spy Hop Productions, a Salt Lake City not-for-profit youth media center specializing in educational solutions through the multimedia arts. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).

The Daniel T. Stetich independent film collection (2003-2005) consists of short films made by Stetich while a student at East High School and at the Utah Film and Video Center. Daniel Stetich is a Salt Lake City filmmaker who pursued a film studies degree at the University of Utah. This collection is part of the Utah Independent Film Archive (UIFA).
