The Elizabeth Dennistoun Wood Kane diary consists of a photocopy from microfilm of the original. The diary documents Elizabeth Kane's travels from Salt Lake City to St. George, Utah and back. Material in the diary was later used by Kane in the writing of her book entitled, Twelve Mormon homes visited in succession on a journey through Utah to Arizona.

The Joseph M. Locke papers (1861 and 1884) consist of manuscripts and notes regarding Utah gold coinage and collateral during the nineteenth century.

The Joseph M. Locke photograph is a 5x7, black and white portrait of John M. Kay in the form of a cabinet card. The image is quite faded.

The Harold G. Reynolds papers (1895-1936) consist of certificates, programs, correspondence, notes, newspaper and magazine clippings on Harold G. Reynolds' life and LDS Church assignments. Reynolds was the mission and travel secretary for the LDS Church.

The Samuel Russell papers (circa 1912-1914) consist mainly of papers and articles regarding the "American" system of weights and measurements.

The Jennie Teasdale Smith papers (1893-1910) contain three patriarchal blessings, a certificate, and geneology sheets. Jennie Teasdale Smith was the daughter of LDS Church apostle George Teasdale.

The Jennie Teasdale Smith photograph collection includes family portraits and postcards of Jennie Teasdale Smith and her relatives. The collection also contains photographs of missionary family members in England and one reference to Scotland as well as photos of Virgil J. Smith span infancy, missionary, and adulthood.

The Elton LeRoy Taylor photograph collection consists primarily of a complex scrapbook filled with photographs dating from the late 19th century. Subjects include personal images, and portraits. The collection also contains recent images of Taylor.
