J. Gordon and Betty M. Browning papers
The J. Gordon and Betty M. Browning papers (1874-1999) are a collection of documents from the Browning, Foulger, and Menick families. The Brownings were politically active in the Utah Democratic Party. J. Gordon Browning had a career in radio.
William A. Dawson papers
The William A. Dawson papers (1902-1971) consist of personal and political materials, personal correspondence, and autobigoraphical sketch, biograhpical sketches, and memoirs. Dawson (1903-1981) served four terms in the U. S. House of Representatives. This collection contains materials relating to his last three terms in the 1950s.
Virginia P. Frobes collection
The Virginia P. Frobes collection (1894-1956) consists of correspondence between notable Utah politicians and businessmen. Included are documents concerning Samuel Newhouse, Charles C. Parsons, Joseph H. Hutchinson, D. D. Moffat, Ray S. McCarty, Lillie M. Harris, and representatives of various mining companies. Also included is a scrapbook from the personal library of Fisher Harris which contains news clippings about his life and career.
Allan Turner Howe papers
The Allan Turner Howe papers (1975-1976) are composed of the material accumulated during Howe's term in the U.S. House of Representatives. The collection consists of material generated by the Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs and the Committee on Public Works and Transportation. Correspondence to and from constituents, and casework handled through his offices in Washington, Salt Lake City, and Cedar City is also included.
