The Jon Ferguson manuscripts consists of a 115-page story, "Edgar's Apple: A Story the Opposite of Kierkegaard's" and "The Anthropologist, A Novel."

The Jesse S. Hoy manuscript (1952) is the result of work done by James G. Hodgson, Director of Libraries, Colorado A & M College. He organized and pieced together with contents, explanatory notes, etc., the disorganized pieces of the original Hoy manuscript, which was received with the purchase of Field and Stream.

The Grant L. and Mary Merrell Valentine papers (1913-2005) contain correspondence, genealogical data, family histories and memoirs, notebooks, pamphlets and brochures, travel diaries, financial documents and news clippings.
