Abstract This collection consist of a journal (1839-1845) written by Carey Call. Carey Call joined the LDS Church in 1842. In this journal, he relates his experience in Nauvoo in the mid-forties. The original item has been removed and placed in Reserve. Access must be given by the Manuscripts Curator and by appointment.

Abstract The Nauvoo City Council records (1841-1845) contain dates and descriptions of Nauvoo City Councils. Various topics are discussed in these councils such as brothel penalties and laws for rabid dogs. There is also an excerpt of diary entries from William Law and his dealings and experience with the Nauvoo City Council.
