American Mining Company records
The American Mining Company records (1896-1925) comprise a bound, handwritten journal with the title: "Minute Book, American Mining Co, Salt Lake City, U, from March 31, 1896 to " (the final entry in this journal was in October 1925) and three canceled stock certificates that were first issued in 1902.

The Steven and Connie Faria collection on the Tintic Mining District and western mining (1887-1984) contains materials from the Chief Consolidated Mining Company, along with materials from various mining companies. Included in the collection are stockholders materials, annual reports, administrative materials and correspondence.
Virginia P. Frobes collection
The Virginia P. Frobes collection (1894-1956) consists of correspondence between notable Utah politicians and businessmen. Included are documents concerning Samuel Newhouse, Charles C. Parsons, Joseph H. Hutchinson, D. D. Moffat, Ray S. McCarty, Lillie M. Harris, and representatives of various mining companies. Also included is a scrapbook from the personal library of Fisher Harris which contains news clippings about his life and career.

The Green River Mining and Improvement Company records (1895-1896) consist of photocopies of documents from several companies formed in the late nineteenth century. Their purpose was to exploit the resources to be found in the area of the lower Green and Grand (renamed the Colorado in 1921) Rivers. Included are stock certificates, certificates of incorporation, letters, and a prospectus.
