Abstract The Zella Skidmore McEntire papers (1923-1996) reflect her activities in church, in school, with her family, and her interest in politics. Zella (1912-2000) was a teacher in both the primary and secondary school systems. She married Eldon McEntire in 1935, and besides raising their children and teaching, was very involved with many clubs, groups, and organizations.
