Abstract The William M. Purdy papers (1954-1991) consist of personal and professional documents for Purdy (1921-1993), a noted Utah educator. The materials include correspondence, writings, and documents concerning Rowland Hall-St. Mark's School, where Purdy was headmaster from 1968-1981. Also included in the collection is his paper, "An Outline of the History of the Flaming Gorge Area."
