Abstract The Edward Abbey audio collection (1981-1989) consists of audio recordings or public and published works of Edward Abbey, as well as his memorial service in 1989. Recordings of include Abbey's speech at the 'cracking' of Glen Canyon Dam in 1981 and the audiobook Freedom and Wilderness: Edward Abbey Reads from his Work. Edward Abbey was a noted author and environmental activist, much of whose work focused on the desert Southwest.

Abstract The Helen B. Andelin audio collection (1976) consists of an abridged audiobook recording of Andelin's 1963 book, Fascinating Womanhood. A proponent of traditional gender roles, which she believed were the key to a successful marriage, Andelin originally wrote the book in 1963 to correspond with the marriage enrichment classes she was teaching. The Fascinating Womanhood movement continues to thrive today.

There are also audio recordins of Ballet West personalities on the "State of the Arts" radio program one television advertisment recorded on 16mm film. A professional ballet company, Ballet West was established in 1963 and offers a season of performances at the Salt Lake City, Utah's Capitol Theatre.
