The Todd I. Berens papers (1849-1970) consist of materials resulting from Berens' research of historical trails of early Western settlers, with emphasis on Jedediah Smith and Charles Fremont, as well as the Gold Rush of 1849. Included are letters from Dale Morgan, a biography of Arthur Shearer, and an excerpt from the Hannibal Journal. Todd Berens was a high school history teacher who specialized in historical research.

This collection contains a typewritten essay on the reasons why the Mormon pioneers considered Utah to be the ideal place in which to settle. Apparently written in connection with the centennial celebration in 1947.

The Stanley Jones papers consist of materials concerning the 1979 commemorative trek by Stan Jones and Harvey C. Leake to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Wetherill-Cummings-Douglass expedition which "discovered" Rainbow Bridge. Included are biographies of Jones and Leake, historical background material, and an itinerary of the trek.

The R. R. Stevens papers (1885) consists of bound drawings, route maps, and written details of a journey from Ute Springs, Utah, via the Blue Mountain region to Bluff City, Utah, under the command of Lt. Col. N. W. Osborne, 6th Infantry. The trip took place in September and October of 1885.
