Abstract The Charlotte A. Quinn papers (1965-2001) contain an extensive collection of research notes concerning the modern resurgence of Islam in Africa. The research was used for Charlotte Quinn's book, Pride, Faith and Fear: Islam in the Sub-Saharan Africa, and her collaboration with Frederick Quinn, Mandingo Kingdoms of the Senegambia: Traditionalism, Islam, and European Expansion.
