Abstract The Barbara Bailey Hales papers (1971-1996) consist of documents collected by Hales regarding her research in sex equality and single parent support as well as her participation on various boards and councils.

This collection primarily consists of documents from the Salt Lake City chapter, with smaller amounts of information from chapters across the state and the the national league.

Abstract The Women in Utah politics oral history project (1976-1994) consists of interviews with several women who have been active in political and judicial organizations in Utah. Interviews were conducted by Kathryn MacKay, Eloise McQuown, and Gregory C. Thompson under the auspices of the University of Utah's American West Center.
