Abstract The George Christian Riser autobiography (1842-1846) is titled, "Tagebuch fur G.C.R.," about his early life in Germany, his immigration to the United States, his conversion to the Mormon Church, his settlement in Nauvoo, Illinois, and ends in the winter of 1846 at Council Bluffs, Iowa.
