Beck Miller began training on the Great Salt Lake in preparation for kayaking the length of the lake and back in June 2013. He did the eight-day trip, starting at the marina on the south shore, to the north end at Monument Rock, approximately 150-miles round-trip. It was the first recorded trip of its kind on the Great Salt Lake.
