Scope and Contents From the Collection: Quintus Charles Wilson (1903-1999) was a journalist, educator, and the founder of what is now known as the University of Utah department of communications. Wilson was born Dec. 31, 1903 in Fayette, Iowa to Emma and Charles Wilson. He received his Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, and PhD in history from the University of Minnesota. From 1929 to 1948, he worked as a journalist in Minnesota, including as city editor of the Mankato Daily Free Press and news editor of the St. Paul Pioneer Press....
