Reprint of the history as published by the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but also including chapters 20 through 22, which were not printed. This history was written by John Whitmer as Church Historian. In April 1838 Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon wrote Whitmer, saying he was an incompetent historian and requesting his history so they could correct it before publication. John Whitmer refused.
