The photographs in this collection were contained in the time capsule placed in the cornerstone of the City/County Building in the dedication ceremony of 1892. The time capsule was placed by Masons. In 1989, a re-dedication ceremony was held for the newly restored building, at which time the time capsule was opened and a new one put in its place. The materials contained in the original were placed in the Marriott Library at the behest of Mayor Palmer Depaulis. Most of the images...
