Scope and Contents From the Collection: Roy T. Porte, (1876-1936), was a printer and publisher who founded the Porte Publishing Company in 1924. Porte and his wife made numerous tours abroad from 1925 to 1936, speaking to groups on the art of publishing. The photographs in his collection were taken on those trips to the South Pacific, The Far East, and the Middle East.
