Scope and Contents Morgan had checked with the Utah State Historical Society to see if they had sent Brooks Dwyer's thesis he had ordered for her and found that it had been sent to Fawn Brodie by mistake. He mentions talking with Caroline Parry, a granddaughter of Haight, who said that Haight and his family kept a vow of silence on the Mountain Meadows massacre. He reports that Parry also said that John D. Lee had been reinstated in the L.D.S. church after his death.
