Scope and Contents A collection of correspondence from the entire Merrill family to Jospeh Merrill. Letters to Joseph Merrill are all originals; Joseph Merrill's replies appear to be carbon copies of his original letters. The letters are listed chronologically by month through the year. 1944 and 1945 are contained in two separate folders as they do not comprise a large part of the collection.
