Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Michael Joseph Gorrell papers (1871-2014) contain professional materials, Salt Lake Organizing Committees' General Assembly documents, newsletters, memorabilia, press releases and news clippings collected by Salt Lake Tribune reporter Mike Gorrell during the seven years (1995-2002) that he covered Salt Lake City's preparations for the 2002 Winter Olympics, as well as other materials collected throughout the course of Gorrell's journalistic career.
