Top Committee, a group comprised of members of the twelve Federal Reserve districts, enlisted by the Federal Reserve Board to educate the public about a $3.75 billion loan to Britain. Although the U. S. government strongly supported the loan as a means of British and international economic recovery, there was some public opposition.
