Scope and Contents Correspondence between the Federal Reserve Board and the Gianninis concerning U.S. government attempts to prevent a Bank of America monopoly. These materials were taken from the files of Lawrence Clayton, a Utah associate of Eccles, Eccles' assistant at the Federal Reserve Board from 1934-1945, and a governor of the board from 1947 until his death in 1949.
