Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Franklin S. Harris Jr. papers (1920s-1997) contain the personal, teaching, and research files of this noted Utah-born scientist. The collection contains much of his research on diffraction and the subject of optics in general. Also present are materials relating to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the relationship between science and religion.
