Abstract
The Art Zeldin papers (1928-2000) consists of scrapbooks, correspondence, reports, proposals, essays, news clippings, and journal articles. The bulk of the collection pertains to his education and professional career as a mining engineer. Zeldin worked on the designs for Kennecott Copper Corporation (KCC) first two electrolytic copper refineries from 1948-1949 and the development of continuously casting copper shapes and billet casting stands in the 1950s. Zeldin's professional career with KCC spanned from 1948-1982. In his later professional years, Zeldin worked as a consultant and as chairman of the Utah Water Pollution Control Committee.
