The Meeche White digital photograph collection contains 165 digital only images documenting White's career in adaptive sports. The collection includes photographs of the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah, and the Paralympics; images of a 2007 trip White took to Thailand; images of White meeting the Dalai Lama. The collection spans 1985 to 2007.

Biographical Note
Meeche White was born in 1952 in New York City. In 1985, White cofounded the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah, with her former husband Peter Badewitz. The center began with an adapted ski program and has grown into one of the largest programs for adaptive sports in the world, offering more than 25,000 lessons a year in twelve sports. Through the National Ability Center, White has helped found similar programs in Thailand, Mexico, Indonesia, Spain, Italy, and Poland. In 1993, White was head coach of the United States Special Olympics Alpine Ski Team in Schladming, Austria. In 2002, she served on the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2002 as the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Manager. Meeche White retired from the role of executive director in 2008. (Source: “Meeche White,” Alf Engen Ski Museum).
