Biographical Note
The Sabrina Lawrence Leunig digital photograph collection contains images of Sabrina Lawrence Leunig during her time as a student at the University of Utah, when she was a member of the university's Ski Team, between 1997 and 2001. Sabrina moved from Olympic Valley, California, to attend the University of Utah and participate in the Ski Team. During her time on the team, Sabrina participated in multiple events and competitions, including the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Skiing Championships. While a student at the University of Utah, Sabrina met Markus Leunig, a student from Ollerau, Switzerland, who was also a member of the Ski Team. The two later married. The items in this collection were donated by Sabrina in connection with the April 2008 "Celebration on Snow" reunion and event which commemorated the 60th anniversary of the University's Ski Team.
