Scope and Contents

The images in the Steve Clegg collection were loaned to the Special Collections Dept. for digital scanning by Barbara Amidon in November 2003, and were returned to the donor after scanning. The photographs depict famous ski pioneers such as Alf and Sverre Engen, and Junior Bounous. Steve Clegg was the son of Dr. Reed Clegg, who was the team doctor for the University of Utah football team. Steve Clegg was on the University of Utah ski team in the 1970s, and later skied for the Alpine Training School.

Abstract

The Steve Clegg photograph collection consists of images which depict famous ski pioneers such as Alf and Sverre Engen, and Junior Bounous.
