The photographs in this are portraits of Thomas Stuart Ferguson. Ferguson was an attorney in the state of California for many years. In the 1950s until his death in 1983 he set out to prove or disprove the validity of the Book of Mormon by researching the areas of Central and South America and letters of early Church leaders. In Accn 1350 are many of Ferguson's correspondence relating to his research and his finds.
