David McKenzie photograph collection

Scope and Contents

McKenzie was a secretary to Brigham Young, manager of the Salt Lake Theater during the 1860s and 1870s, and active in Salt Lake drama. His photographs include portraits of Utah actors and actresses, scenes of downtown Salt Lake, and a Salt Lake Theater album containing seventeen prints showing the razing of the theater in 1927.
