Biographical Note
Wallace Bennett was a United States Senator from Utah, 1950-1974. While in congress, he worked on the Senate Banking and Currency Committee, Finance Committee and Joint Committe on Atomic Energy and Joint Committee on Defense Production. He was a successful business man, working his way from an office clerk at Bennett's Paint and Glass to its' president in 1938. He also served as president of the National Association of Manufactures in 1949. He continues to be very active in his community and church. The photo collection contains portraits of Bennett, family snapshots, business associates and Bennett as senator.
