Biographical Note

Oscar W. and Mary Preston Moyle were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The bulk of the collection, found in the Manuscripts division of Special Collections, consists of diaries and correspondence documenting their travels and families. The Oscar W. and Mary Preston Moyle photograph collection contains four black and white portraits of Oscar W. and Mary Preston Moyle's family, including: James Moyle, Mary (Snider) Wood, and her husband, Daniel Wood.
