Historical Note
These prints were collected by Susan Salem in 2008 as part of her work on the Western Waters Digital Library (WWDL). While the WWDL focuses on water, these prints are adjacent to the subject of water, documenting the broader development of extractive industries and other industrial development in Utah in the twentieth century.

Prints of western industrial sites and locations collected by Susan Salem in the summer of 2008 as part of her work on the Western Waters Digital Library project. Most are publicity shots from various industries, and many have handwritten or typed captions.
